"Simplifying Legionella" Webinar

You are invited to join us on Wednesday, October 13th at 11:00 AM Central Time for an online presentation on the relevant and topical subject of Legionella – specifically, what it is and how it affects your facility.

There are many recommendations out there for monitoring and controlling Legionella. As a matter of fact, ASHRAE has just released their Legionella Standard 188 for public comment.  It will likely be accepted and published in early 2011.  Sorting through this and other regulations makes it difficult to know what you should do in regards to Legionella control.  The goal of this webinar is to break down the whole Legionella debate and create a basic understanding of those regulations and controls. Included in the topics we will touch on during the webinar:

• Overview of the Current Guidelines
• Monitoring/Control Guidelines
• Monitoring/Control Risks
• Prevention DO’s and DON’Ts

 There will also be time for questions and discussion after the presentation.  Those attending the webinar will obtain access to our Technical Library that provides a wealth of information related to Legionella and other water related issues.

This 45 minute webinar will feature Joe Russell, President of Watertech of America. Joe is a Certified Water Technologist with 24 years of experience in the industry and has conducted numerous training and educational seminars including full day and in-house workshops.

Joe is also an active participant in the Association of Water Technologies (AWT), Wisconsin Healthcare Engineering Association (WHEA), Wisconsin Wastewater Operators Association (WWOA), the Plant Facilities and Maintenance Association (PFMA) and the Refrigeration Engineers and Technicians Association (RETA).
